Taylor High School has agreed to pilot a new character education program called BE BOLD (Be, Overcome, Learn, Do). The curriculum for the program will include many topics that are important in the social and emotional health of our students. These topics include bullying, social media, identity, suicide prevention, vision goals, respect, tolerance, leadership, stress management, substance abuse, confidence, plus many more. The curriculum is comprised of a video, discussion, and activity each week for 30 weeks.

Taylor High School hosted an assembly on August 24, 2016 for all Taylor High School students to meet the creators of BE BOLD. Mr. Nick Jackson and Dr. Danny Ciamarra. Currently, Mr. Jackson owns an inspirational company called NICKJACKSONSPEAKS. Dr. Danny Ciamarra was a professor who now devotes his career to inspiring individuals through his motivational speeches.

Three Rivers Local School District supports character education and incorporates it into the education of every student in grades pk-12.
