Taylor High School DECA Students Excel at District 5 Competition
Taylor High School DECA students in the Finance Program recently showcased their skills and professionalism while competing at the District 5 DECA Competition. Through participation in DECA and the Finance Program, students develop essential real-world skills including problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism—while applying classroom learning to authentic business and finance scenarios.
We extend a sincere thank you to the dedicated volunteers who supported our students by helping prepare them for competition and/or serving as judges: Mr. Sies, Mrs. Rivet, Mr. Baker, Mr. Larkins, Mrs. Bender, Ms. Griener, and Mr. Heller. Their time and commitment play a vital role in our students’ success, and we truly could not do this without them.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Taylor High School with confidence, dedication, and professionalism. Experiences like DECA help prepare students for college, careers, and future success. Best of luck to our competitors as they advance to the state level!
