TRLSD Welcomes New SRO

Posted on: September 17, 2020
Officer Josh Six is new SRO for the Three Rivers Local School District

After six years of serving the Three Rivers Local School District, SRO Sergeant David Bingle has decided to expand his professional career. Sergeant Bingle accepted a position with the American Financial Group in corporate security. While with Three Rivers, Sergeant Bingle excelled in building relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. Being a Taylor graduate himself, he knew the history and took pride in keeping everyone at Three Rivers safe. Although he will certainly be missed, the District extends best wishes to both he and his family on his new endeavor. Prior to leaving Three Rivers, Sergeant Bingle assured the District that "they were in really good hands" with the hiring of Officer Six to replace him as the SRO.

Josh Six has been in Law Enforcement for 12 years. Previously, he worked with the City of North College Hill and the State of Ohio. He has experience with several different tactical units and drug units, as well as crisis health training.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as building custom cars and motorcycles and riding his Harley.

When asked what he enjoys most thus far in his new position as the TRLSD SRO, he replied "I love making connections with the students and getting to know the Yellow Jacket Community."
