Taylor Middle School’s 5th Grade Fiesta
Taylor Middle School’s 5th graders kicked off their morning with excitement, laughter, and plenty of learning during their annual Fiesta celebration! This special tradition brought students together for a fun-filled experience centered around culture, creativity, and community.
Throughout the morning, students rotated through a variety of engaging activities that allowed them to learn while having fun. From participating in a lively bean race to decorating colorful skulls inspired by cultural traditions, students embraced every opportunity to explore and celebrate different customs and experiences.
Of course, no fiesta would be complete without delicious food! Students enjoyed a variety of Mexican food favorites while learning more about the traditions and cultural significance behind the celebration. The morning also included music and movement as students learned a new dance, filling the classroom with energy and excitement.
Events like this are a wonderful reminder that some of the best learning happens through hands-on experiences and meaningful connections. The 5th-grade team at Taylor Middle School does an incredible job creating opportunities that blend education, culture, and fun in ways students will remember for years to come.
Thank you to the entire 5th-grade staff for organizing such a memorable and engaging morning for our students!
