Dear Parents and Members of the Class of 2021: Taylor High School offers the “Yellow Jacket Freshman Orientation” as a freshman transition experience. We are offering this opportunity for all incoming freshmen. We believe that in understanding the culture of Taylor High School that all freshman participants will have a positive head start. Our research indicates that participants in these types of programs earn higher grades, are more likely to be involved in extracurricular opportunities, and have fewer disciplinary situations than those who do not participate. The day promises to be both informative and fun. We urge all incoming freshmen to attend our “Yellow Jacket Freshman Orientation 2017.” Please read the information below, and don’t miss this great opportunity to begin your high school years in a positive and enjoyable way. What is it? Yellow Jacket Freshman Orientation 2017 is the first step​ in your orientation to Taylor High School. It is a one-day orientation camp for incoming ninth graders that is led by a staff of Taylor High School students and teachers.
