Three Rivers Welcomes New Board Member
The Three Rivers Local School District is pleased to welcome Brian Turner as the newest member of the Three Rivers Board of Education. Turner was recently appointed to fill the Board vacancy created by the resignation of Christina Hughes, who stepped down from her position to devote more time to her family.
The district extends its sincere appreciation to Hughes for her service and dedication to the students, staff, and families of Three Rivers. Her commitment to public education and support of the district have been valued throughout her tenure on the Board of Education.
Turner brings both professional leadership experience and a longstanding connection to the Three Rivers community. He and his wife are the parents of two Three Rivers students, one of whom is a graduate of the district, while their youngest child will be a senior at Taylor High School during the 2026-2027 school year.
As both a parent and community member, Turner has witnessed the dedication of Three Rivers teachers, staff, administrators, and coaches in supporting student success. His experiences have fostered a deep appreciation for the district's commitment to providing students with meaningful educational opportunities and enriching experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
Professionally, Turner serves in senior management at Messer Construction Co., where he leads IT teams, collaborates with executive leadership, and manages complex technology projects that support the company's strategic growth plans.
