Three Rivers accepting check from Knights of Columbus
During the February 9th Three Rivers Board of Education Meeting, the Three Rivers St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus presented a check for $3,054.00 to the School District. Member, Don Larrick, who is also a former Principal for the Three Rivers District began the presentation by thanking the Board and Superintendent for inviting them to the meeting to present the annual check. Mr. Larrick was joined by Rich Joesting, Program Director, and Steve Rodenbeck, Grand Knight. Mr. Rodenbeck kindly took the time to update the Board of Education and the community on how the funds are raised and utilized to support the students and families of Three Rivers.

This is the Three Rivers St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus ' twenty-fifth anniversary this year and in those years they have provided an extraordinary amount of services and support for the Three Rivers Community. In the course of their time since establishment, they have raised over $71,000 that they have used to give back to the schools and community at large. This year, they raised over $7,000, which they split in half and gave half to the Margaret B. Rost School and Three Rivers. Megan Rivet, Director of Student Services for Three Rivers, graciously accepted the check and expressed her gratitude as the annual check truly helps with expenses for student services.

The funds used to give to the students of Margaret B. Rost School and Three Rivers were raised through the Measure Up Drive. The Measure Up Drive is the Knights of Columbus flagship charity fundraiser conducted annually throughout the State of Ohio. When referencing the annual Drive, the Knights of Columbus Ohio State Council says, "It’s a chance to provide people with developmental disabilities more resources to live a happy life." Three Rivers takes that seriously and promises to use the money for purposes that will align with the mission and vision of the Knights of Columbus.

Three Rivers School District extends a grateful thank you for the continued support from the Three Rivers St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus throughout the years.
