Once again this year, Art Teachers Zanna Ferree and Kelly Burichin joined forces for a collaborative art project involving elementary and high school students. The elementary students created drawings of their chosen "creatures," and the high school students subsequently crafted stuffed animals based on these artworks. The resemblance between the drawings and the stuffed animals was striking.

On December 14, 2023, the high school students showcased their projects to the elementary students who had created the original drawings. Both groups of students delighted in witnessing the transformation of the pictures into tangible stuffed animals and observed the younger students' reactions to seeing their artwork brought to life. During the brief ceremony, Ms. Burichin mentioned, "This project is equally meaningful for us as it is for you guys." She further expressed her joy in witnessing the interaction between her former and current students.
